How long is CPR certification valid?
CPR, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association are valid for 2 years. After that, you'll need to take a renewal course to stay current and maintain your credentials.
How much do CPR classes cost?
Pricing varies by course type. BLS Provider courses start at $85, ACLS Provider at $200, PALS Provider at $200, and Heartsaver CPR AED at $75. Group discounts are available for workplace and on-site training.
What's the difference between CPR and BLS?
CPR is the foundational life-saving technique anyone can learn. BLS (Basic Life Support) is a healthcare-provider-level certification from the American Heart Association that includes CPR, AED use, bag-valve-mask ventilation, and team-based rescue techniques.
